Introduction

NTZ’s main activities are the development, production and worldwide sale of oil filters for automatic transmissions in passenger cars. NTZ's high-quality oil filters ensure clean oil, allowing the transmission to function optimally.

The filters are made to measure for automatic transmissions of, among others, Volkswagen and other brands of the Volkswagen group such as Audi, Skoda and Seat.

The machines on which we produce these filters have been specially developed to guarantee that the filters meet the highest quality standards. Furthermore, our laboratory specialized in the development of filters plays an important role in continuous quality control.

The development of filters takes place in the Dutch port city of Rotterdam. NTZ filters are produced in Rotterdam and the Chinese city of Zhuhai.

The oil filters are sold directly to car manufacturers, manufacturers of automatic transmissions, specialist garages and private individuals who maintain their own cars.

History

In the early 70s, NTZ was founded in Germany at the University of Aachen with the aim of developing oil filters for microfiltration. The first application for this type of oil filters is in hydraulic systems. In the mid-1980s, NTZ was taken over by a Dutch entrepreneur who introduced the oil filters for microfiltration into the automotive industry.

Since the beginning of this century, microfiltration oil filters developed by NTZ have been used in Ford and Volkswagen automatic transmissions. In the years that followed, NTZ extended its product range to all types of oil filters used in automatic transmissions. After the acquisition by the Frencken Group, which is listed on the Singapore stock exchange, expansion towards China followed.

Over the past 45 years, NTZ has grown from a start-up to a renowned company that develops and produces filters. NTZ filters are used in automatic transmissions from, among others, Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Lamborghini, Ferrari, BMW, Renault, Daimler, Dong Feng, BYD Auto and Brilliance.
