NTZ introduces new importer for UK

NTZ Nederland will partner with Antech Hydraulics to offer NTZ Radial Micro Filtration products in the UK

Hydraulic component specialists Antech Hydraulics Ltd are set to become the sole UK importer for the complete range of Radial Micro Filtration units from Dutch manufacturer, NTZ Nederland BV. The official contract will be signed by representatives of both companies on the Antech stand at 12.00pm on the first day of the exhibition (10th June).

Antech Managing Director, Andrew Newell, will be joined on the day by NTZ Sales Manager Martin Grob to cement the future of the collaboration. The latest addition to Antech?s range of products will be the company?s fifth major distributorship, sitting alongside brands such as Kawasaki, Staffa and LJM, who are already well established in the marine industry.

On choosing Seawork for the launch, Andrew Newell commented, ?The maritime sector is already one of our key markets for Staffa motors. Launching our new NTZ offline filtration products at the show will put us right in front of the very customers who will benefit from the type of equipment we are able to offer.?

Although NTZ have proudly offered their Radial Micro Filtration units for 35 years they have not had a representative in the UK in recent times. ?We chose Antech for their experience and knowledge in the filtration sector,? said Grob, ?We are confident that they will help us achieve the growth we want and make a real impact in the market.?

With over 30 years of experience, NTZ products can be found on a variety of applications including winches, cranes, steering gear, lubrication systems and fuel systems. Offline filtration can provide significant cost savings to operators by reducing downtime, reducing water in oil content, lowering oil disposal costs and increasing service intervals. The advantage of NTZ Radial Micro Filters is that filtering takes place at a constant flow and pressure, making the efficiency of the NTZ bypass 10 times better than the efficiency of a standard inline filter. Component wear is significantly reduced, thus protecting vital components such as valves, pumps and motors.

Antech will also be highlighting the environmental benefits of using offline filtration. Oils that have been contaminated with debris and water can be cleaned to cleanliness levels that are even better than new product, negating the need to dispose of them and prolonging the longevity of the fluid. Contaminated fuels such as diesel can be treated in the same way. Of course, prevention is better than cure; offline filtration units fitted from the outset will help to avoid contamination and premature component wear, and ultimately serve to protect expensive vessel equipment.
