INTRODUCTION PLASTIC CORE FOR ALL "ATF" AND "AL" FILTERS

 

As from  1^st of may 2008, the filter cartridges for the ATF and AL filters are equipped with a plastic (polyamide) core, the same type as previously introduced in the ALH and OLFS filters.              Sensitivity of the cartridge to high water contamination levels of the oil is herewith definitely solved.

The cartridge will stay stabile in applications with a water content of 300 PPM or more. Because of the excellent water absorbing properties of the filter media, combined with the plastic core, the filter cartridge can also be used to remove high water contents (upto 1000 PPM) from the oil.

Besides abovementioned improvement, there is also an additional important advantage for the customer.

Because of the open structure of the plastic core, the flow performance has been improved by approximately 20%.  Compared to the previous version with the cardboard core, this will result in a lifetime extension of approximately 15%  (under the same operating conditions).

Because of the standardization of the filter cartridges, the number of ordering codes has now been reduced to:

F-09-A    or    F-09-B

F-19-A    or    F-19-B

F-29-A    or    F-29-B

F-58-A    or    F-58-B

( “A” and  “B” versions refer to the different types of filter media )
